I fell in love with Europe.
I would not have though I would love it so much and now can’t imagine leaving it.
The weather in London is not what it used to be – climatic changes? I don’t know. The sun was shining all day long, the sky was blue and cleared of any cloud and the temperature was about 18°C.
I hung my laundry in the yard and benefited from a sun bath for a couple hours... And I got tanned on the most raining month in London!
Then I cooked. I cooked with a lot of time, a lot of oil and a lot of salt. Because people who love food do so. Because Italian do so.
I spent the afternoon with the sun and the book I found on the street, Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, underlying one third of the words to search for their meanings later.
Walking on Seaford Road just before the sunset, I enjoyed the loveliness of the old houses and their messy front yard.
Then I spent my evening at the biggest shopping center in Europe, Westfield, at Shepherd’s Bush Station, and I bought my first Collins English Dictionary.
