20th of April: Simone is back!!!

Maybe did I do something wrong yesterday because this morning, the sky fell on my head.

When I went I the kitchen, a noisy hail-glasses left me nonplussed, not yet waken, surrounded by collapsed glasses and cups.  Once I had swept the floor and gathered the broken pieces of glass on the counter, I poured some milk in my freshly made coffee... and the milk befell to be past, contaminating my cherished coffee!

Damieno, Simone’s friend who accompanied him to Singapore, came in the kitchen. After complaining to him, I tried to be positive: “It’s ok. I will listen to Bob Marley on my way to the work and everything will be alright.”

When I aboard the bus, my Oyster Card was past and I had to beg the driver to have a seat, with a ticket from him – to request your good intention to pay the amount of 2,20 £ in the next 5 days at a Tube station. Sitting in the bus, I realized that my I-pod had disappeared, I don’t know where, probably yesterday in a moment of zealous shopping at Camden Market!

Then I started laughing... because this morning I was surrounded by bad vibes, because I could have cried but I was in London. And since I was in London this morning I thought: “Life is wonderful.”

Simone is back! We had dinner all together in Simone’s bedroom. He was zealous and happy to be back in London and find us at home.

We fancied a trip to Brescia in the next few months and Simone, Vasco and Damieno showed me a part of their city Brescia – in North-middle Italy – where lakes, mountains, museums and clubs promise so much fun!

Zoe the manager will give a new word to learn every day. Today’s word was nonplussed, which means perplexed.
