DAY 28: Tuesday

That was definitely my worst day in London. It was rainy, with about 135% humidity in the air. I was asleep at work, working slowly, without concentration.

Then I started worrying about what would people around think of my work and became really stressed about it. At a moment, I nearly had a panick attack. I don’t know if this is linked to the fact that Yuceppe, our barman, had just told me that 33% of people working in catering business die from a heart attack, even though these statistics don’t seem really trustful.

Therefore,on my way home, when I met Simone on the corner of Seaford Road, standing with his thousand of potatoes for the gnocchi, I felt comforted.

I was as well comforted to find Monica in our bed, telling me that her ay was “the same” and end to the conclusion that we probably both were suffering from an illness today.

I boiled the potatoes at 9 o’clock, because Simone was never going to start cooking. We peeled them together, AFTER cooking them – Italian way. Then we mashed them, add spinach, flour...

Basco arrived at home drunk... and happy, as always.

Finally, at 23:30 the gnocchi were done! Gnocchis with plenty of butter and Parmigiano... Mmh

I got to bed later then I had wished, but feeling home and comforted with my new family!
