I woke up early this morning, had my last coffee and breakfast at the f*** hostel Mapesbury, went for a second and last run around the park.
Monica left the hotel yesterday and was shocked by the manager’s rudeness when she refused to pay for the entire week: he kicked his bag and called her “Bitch”. Therefore she advised me to quit at night, when they could not see me: “faking mafia!” I did not take it as seriously, but I understood how aggressive the manager had been to her when I saw the tears in her eyes the day after.
The morning I was quitting, the manager working was Amedeo: a 35-year-old Italian who was approaching me a bit too much, but from whom I could have the laundry for free. I told him I was quitting in the morning and he tried once again to approach me. Then he turned very rude, making problems because I wanted to do my laundry before quitting and I absolutely had to leave the room before 12. Idiot.
The fact is that I am not scared by dumb people. I told him that he had a problem and that I would do my laundry anywhere else; he was losing one Pound. I was very angry at him.
When I was carrying my heavy luggage and bags threw the stairs, he came to help me. I yelled at him:
“You don’t touch me! I DON’T need your help! DON’T touch me!”
He went back, insulted. I left amused.

JEAN & JOELLE were in LONDON! I met them at the Hotel Indigo, nearby Aldgate Station. We walked around the city, Jean handling the role of Touristic Guide, noticing every important building (banks, banks, banks...) and statues, such as the oen called Wellington:
“C’est qui, ça, Wellington?
- Ben c’est Wellington.”
Then I got them lost while trying to go to The Modern Pantry for Dinner.
Once again I fell in love with my restaurant. They all welcomed me with kisses and smiles. John offered to each of us a glass of Prosecco... Delicious. Then he served us a starter of fritters, as another gift. Moreover he deduced 20% from the bill! We really enjoyed our meal, we had great chats and Jean let Quebecers gratuities to the team! I spent a nice evening with wonderful people.
When I arrived home, Simone rose from bed and came at the door to welcome me with kisses. Lovely! Then I listened to Monica’s story with the manager of the hostel. She was really moved. We got to bed and Simone came for a chat. I was home. With my new family. J
Funny: I opened my facebook and found a message from Amedeo (who was obviously not one of my friends):
