DAY 24: 1st of April

Graziano should have had his pay today and should be calling me. Let’s see.
At lunch at The Modern Pantry we had a couple of Montréalais. I dislike coming back to French language, with Quebecers as well as with French: I guess I am not Home sick yet. Jeff would send me to serve them, complaing at their attitude from Montreal: “Calm down, guys...” I asked Jeff if I was like this and he answered that I was the opposite, which I did not know if I should take it as a compliment.
Today I learned that our Head Chef 24-years-old Rob has 2 daughters, one aged of 5 years old! He seems so young to handle all the responsibilities he’s got!
Oh. Actually, I like Esther. She is very quick at work and she’s demanding at everyone.
Tonight, after cooking, I cleaned kitchen with the application of a mother and I enjoyed it. My first kitchen! People here will probably think I am freak, or simply that I am Canadian. How many times have I heard these comments?
“Canada is clean.”
“In Canada, everything is perfect.”
“Why are you here? You come from Canada!”
Waseem is an Indian employee from the grocery I used to go when I used to live in Willesden Green Station. An evening he explained me how to make a curry and proposed to come one day to cook dinner in my house, which never happened because I was moving to Seven Sisters. He seemed very disappointed and insisted to get my mobile number.
One tree can start a forest; one smile can start a friendship; one touch can show u care; one friend can make life worth living for.
So would u like to b my good friend for ever
I accepted... And it was the beginning of a friendship...
A single candle can illuminate an entire room. A true friend lights up an entire lifetime.. Thanks for lights of your friendship so have a wonderful night
