DAY 9: Saint Patrick’s Day

For breakfast, I had two croissant grabbed yesterday from a girl working at the Prêt À Manger: she has plenty of food to take home every shift! (0 Pound)

I did my laundry. After searching for hangers in shops on my street, I was given ten of these by a nice man at the Dryer and Cleaner. (0 Pound)

I cleaned my room as possible.

Today, Graziano and I went for a visit. We have walked in the enormous Regent’s Park and we’ve seen white swans, dogs and flowers. We must go back for picnic on a sunny day!

Then we walked around Brick Lane: This area is a completely unique world. People have funky haircuts and wear fur, leather, cotton and silk all mixed up. There are so many shops and bars and Indian restaurants and a car surrounded by a rock as a sculpture... This is obviously the craziest district of London. I’ll go there and spend all my money when I get my first pay...

Oh. I’ve already bought something: a huge fur hat. (10 Pounds)

...And a delicious bagel with tuna. The bagels shops are famous in Brick Lane.

I am working early tomorrow in the morning, therefore I give up partying for St-Patrick’s... I am sad, because there was a new girl from Spain going to party, she had been smoking weed, went completely crazy, running everywhere, speaking non-sense-Span-English.
