DAY 19: Sunday.

Today I ate one banana and two poivrons and two coffees.

14h. Sunny. I jumped out of my bed and ran in the garden to lie in the grass.

I went to Hyde Park with Federico, the youngest Italian guy of the hostel (17 years old) and Alessandro.

We laid in the grass and Alessandro has talked about the Red Hot Chili Peppers for 15 minutes, then he showed me his six tattoos of the band.

Then we’ve rested for a few minutes while Federico was enjoying the Red Hot Chili Peppers with my I-Pod.

They say that they don’t like Italian girls because they ignore them and their compliments. I explained that in Quebec several men would rarely compliment or show openly their interest to women. When you are not used to, you enjoy these compliments, but on the other side, when compliments come too easily, they seem to lose their importance. They think Italian women act like this because of some not respectful Italians.

Monica and I went to Simone’s house. I was waiting for her to say YES. And she did. We received our keys and I think I scared Simone because I said I would plant flowers in the garden and full the fridge with fruits and vegetables, and put my toilet paper in the bathroom, and I was so happy... Calm down.
