I woke up yesterday with no much idea of how to spend my day off. The weather was unstable, which would be the typical weather of London according to Londoners, offering half a blue sky, half a stormy sky. Though, it describes the weather of the last week at least.

Hence I opted for indoor activities.

Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington station preserves loads of beautiful and ancient objects in particular from Europe, Middle East Asia and South Asia. It is a great place to dream of ancient ages and learn about it.

The Orangery, beside Kensington Palace & Gardens, welcomes plenty of tourists, but also Londoners, for the afternoon tea. On this Thursday afternoon, at 5 o’clock, the place was quite busy: I waited in a queue for about ten minutes to be seated. There I could see old English ladies, tourists having their typical afternoon tea and young groups of 4-7 Londoners gathering for the occasion. Finally, most of them would picture themselves with the table mise en place.

Coronet cinema next to Notting Hill Gate station is known for his age and his two only screens. I watched the Last night. Guillaume Canet was handsome, charismatic. Keira Knightley was splendid. And she recalled me that I want to be a writer, have no schedule, spend my day with wool socks and walk to the corner of the street to buy a coffee with ponytail and sweatshirt. I cried and remained seated till the closure of the curtains. Soundtrack by Clint Mansell.
